Ok, I am sure y’all have heard about these new things called fidget spinners. Apparently all the kids have them and they are quiet the rave. I have heard adults talking about them, the radio show I listen to…the host said she tried one and it was like relaxing to her. I don’t get it. I asked Miss Emma if she had played with one and she had. So I asked her what she thought and why she liked it and I am not kidding her response was “ I don’t”; so I asked why she plays with it and she says “I just can’t put it down and that’s why you need to get me one….please.” I just stared at her, I didn’t even know how to reply.
So, I tried to let it go when I happened to be walking through Target and saw a bin full of them. I was so excited. I was going to to see what all of the hype was about. So, I pick up the fidget spinner place it between my two fingers and spun……and it spun…..all I can say is I don’t get it. Literally my husband thought I was going to have some ah-ha moment so he even recorded it:
Apparently this is the first sign that I truly am getting old. I mean I kinda had a clue because some of today’s music just kinda sucks and I find myself telling Miss Emma to “turn it down” but this truly opened my eyes. It's happening, I am getting old. Thank goodness I can cook - and it brings me my ah-ha moments.
This marinade is one that I make often and just love. Y’all will always find a bottle of this in my fridge. It pairs perfectly with a salad or on grilled chicken. I urge you to give this a try, y’all won’t regret it!
