Welcome to Thrive at Five Weekly Meal Plan Week #20!
If the daily dinner dilemma has gotten you down,
you’ve come to the right place!
SOLVING THE DINNERTIME DILEMMA~
Dinnertime in my home is crazy; literally it’s chaotic. That’s why I highly suggest having a meal plan in place. Highly suggest, who am I kidding? If I didn’t have a meal plan my family would end up living off fast food. Plus it keeps me from having to go shopping multiple times during the week and saves me money!
HOW IT WORKS~
If this is your first time visiting, welcome! Every Friday, we’ll have a meal plan posted for you use the following week. We’ll share 5 main dish recipes, along with some surprises. Maybe it’ll be a side dish, or dessert, even breakfast or a snack. Anything scrumptious that we think you need to know about.
So whatcha y’all say? Let’s get to it!
Meal Plan Week 20
These Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas just might change the way you do “Taco Tuesday” forever! They’re healthy, perfectly seasoned and come together in about 30 minutes. It’s Fiesta time!
Make your next cookout a multicultural affair. These Tabouleh Turkey Burgers with Feta and Harissa are a fresh take on the classic grilled burger. Tabouleh Turkey Burgers ditch the standard lettuce, tomato and onion for a Lebanese parsley salad. But why stop there? Harissa replaces ketchup and feta is the big cheese.
Have you noticed a theme developing in my recent posts? We started at flatbreads, detoured via dukkah and now here we are at lamb koftas for dinner (or lunch). I’ll admit I am not the greatest fan of lamb. Does that make me un-Australian? As an aside, I don’t like Vegemite either. Don’t judge me.
Crispy Sriracha Cheesy Chicken Bake is juicy chicken breast coated in cheesy sriracha spread, crunchy panko & baked for an easy family dinner everyone loves!
This is a fantastic meal for a beautiful spring day. It’s light and cheery, easy enough to make during the week, but seems special enough for company, too. I really like that it incorporates great spring flavor – sugar snap peas, asparagus, mint and lemon!
Sweet on the cob corn seasoned with garlic, butter and pablano peppers grilled in the husk. An absolutely necessary side to serve at any fiesta or BBQ party!
Fried Sweet Plantain Slices (Platanos Maduros Fritos) ~ Scrumptious sweet plantains slices fried to perfection. Simple and easy, this is the best appetizer or side dish for any meal.
