Do you ever have those nights where you want something different with dinner? But don’t want to have to run to the store to buy something? This Instant-Pot Savory Herbed Rice can be made with ingredients you have on hand!
Growing up when my mother did attempt to cook, we always had one of two different side dishes; Mashed potatoes or boil in a bag rice. , like most other foods I didn’t discover the rice varieties, or seasonings for that matter, until into my adult life. Having said that I can now clearly state – I love rice!
My family’s go-to however is long-grain white rice. It is quite possibly the most common rice made throughout the country. However, with a few simple tweaks you can turn it from basic into awesome! This Instant-Pot Savory Herbed Rice is a long-grained rice spiced up by cooking it with chicken broth and six (6) simple spices which brings you a flavor like Rice-A-Roni.
