Last week I shared 10 simple kitchen tips that I use and y’all loved ‘em. So, I’ve decided that I would share a few more tips and tricks I use. So, here's a start 10 Must Have Kitchen Tips and Tricks!
5 Must Have Tips & Tricks:
If you need to soften butter quickly but don’t want to melt it…put boiling hot water into a glass to heat the glass. Then simply dump the water out and flip it over your stick of butter. In a few minutes, it will be soft and ready to use.
Keep your plastic wrap in the fridge. Cold plastic wrap works better because it allows less tearing giving you a nice clean cut and perfect sticking!
Cut Onions Without Crying
This tip is only for onions that you will be cooking. Simply place the onion in the freezer for 30 minutes prior to cutting them. No tears!
Are you wooden spoons ugly and stinky? Don’t throw them away! Boil them in plain water and then let them dry out in the sun.
Clean Wood Cutting Boards
To remove odors and food residue simply rub them with coarse grain salr and leave in on them for 15 – 20 minutes. The using a half lemon wipe the board and dry.
